The book section in our shop has now closed having been a much loved part of the shop for a very long time but we need the space to carry more stock of railway items. The collection will continue to be offered for sale here on the website with all the books being listed, both new and used. You will be able to browse the books online and either order directly for delivery to your home address or reserve the book for your collection from the shop and pay at the same time. Books ordered this way are held for 7 days.

Our collection covers all genres and eras, both for the real railway enthusiast and the model railway enthusiast. These books can form a valuable research tool if you are modelling a specific region, railway or era, giving an insight into reality to enable you to better match your model to real thing.

All the books in this section are new books unless otherwise stated. Some of these books are the latest releases whilst many will have been in print for some time. The selection here represents only a small part of the books available in the shop so please call if you have any specific requirements or call in for a browse. All books offered for sale, are so offered providing they remain unsold in the shop.

We also have a large selection of second hand books in the shop covering a very wide range of topics and is the perfect place to come and spend a little time browsing through them. All are available at vastly reduced prices with the actual condition of the book varying.
