Further Information on the Class 66 Locomotives
- Build Period: 1998-2015
- Built By: Electro-Motive Diesel
This class of diesel locomotive was a development on from the Class 59 and was very successful and used across Europe
Graham Farish began life in Poole in the 1940's, originally building 00 gauge models but really found their niche in 1970 when they introduced their first range of N gauge models. This led to their withdrawal from the 00 gauge market to concentrate on N gauge. In 2001 they were taken over by Kader and the brand models were absorbed into the Bachmann Industries portfolio of products. The range has since grown to what you see today with Graham Farish considered the leader in British N gauge modelling.
