Here we present a detailed model of a Hornby Princess Coronation Class 4-6-2 Steam Locomotive No.6201 Princess Elizabeth in LMS Crimson from our second hand Hornby O Gauge range.
The model was made by Meccano Ltd. in their Hornby series.
This model is unboxed but will be packed very well and is in very good condition and runs OK on our short piece of test track.
We suspect that the locomotive may have had replacement wheels at some point in the past and there is a buffer missing from the tender. There may also be a part missing from the front of the tender but we can't confirm this. Generally the paintwork is very good but there are a few scratches, some just superficial, and a little paint has worn off the top of the boiler.
Additional highlights of this model include: -
- 20v AC power
- 3-Rail operation
