Hornby Dublo was first introduced in 1938 and continued production until 1964 and was approximately half the size of the O gauge system that Hornby had been manufacturing since 1920. Production of the 3-rail system ceased in 1959 due to poor sales and the established 2-rail system was adopted instead. A feature of the range was the cast metal bodies on the locomotives. The range has remained popular ever since with collectors.
We buy second hand items at competitive prices so please call in for a free, no obligation quote for your railway items. If you can't call in the shop then please send an email with as much detail about the items you have for sale as possible and include photographs if possible. We will then give you an estimated offer which will be confirmed when you send in the your items to us. We will then send a cheque for the agreed price by return else we will return the items at your cost.
We currently find it is difficult to publish lists of our second hand stock as it consistently changes so please check with the shop for the latest details of what we have and check back regularly for our new additions. Please be sure to read the full description of the product prior to purchase to ensure that it meets expectations. The items offered remain subject to being unsold in the shop and whilst every effort is made to remove items promptly after sale it is possible some items are missed. In such circumstances an alternative could be offered or a full refund given.
We can also offer to sell your items on commission at a rate of 20%, where either you set the price of your items or we can do it for you. We will display, advertise in magazines and on our website and insure your items held for commission sale and they can be reclaimed at any time without charge if you so wish.
There are more products in the shop than we have listed here, so if you do not see what you are looking for then please give us a call on 0121-550-1266 and we will be happy to deal with your enquiry and, if necessary, add your request to our list of items to look out for.
