Flux is used to aid the flow and adhesion of solder and is very useful when de-soldering and re-soldering metals. This is a good general flux which has been designed for use on white metal kits and is very active at higher temperatures. The flux is usually carefully applied with a brush carefully and should be neutalised and cleaned after soldering
