Contained within our range, we have this PN815 Metcalfe N Gauge Nissen Hut from our Metcalfe Building & Lineside Kit Range.

The Nissen Hut is a simple but versatile building which comes with a choice of entrances, either a double workshop door or single door can be installed. The huts were designed back in 1916 during WW1 but the Nissen Hut really came into it’s own during WW2 when used as a quick build, multi use hut. They continued to be used after WW2 as temporary housing for displaced families with many later converted into workshops and agriculture use. This laser cut card kit comes with an option of either a single door or a double ‘workshop’ door and the side windows (included) are also optional
